Dr. Khan graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan in 2011. He finished his residency training from East Tennessee State University in 2016 and is board certified in Family Medicine. He then worked for 4 years in Western Indiana and got board certified in Hospital Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. At the same time he finished his Masters with double specialization in Business Administration and Health Care Law. He moved to El Paso in 2020 and has been working in El Paso and Las Cruces for 4 years. Last year he got board certified in Healthcare Quality Management by American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians and is a Certified Physician Executive by American Association of Physician Leadership. Dr. Khan is a fellow of Society of Hospital Medicine and American Academy of Family Physicians.
Ana Hughes, FNP-C, was born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. In 2010, she moved to El Paso, Texas, and continued her passion for healthcare by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2018.
Ana completed her Nurse Residency Program at Del Sol Medical Center in 2020, further strengthening her clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education in 2021. Driven by her desire to provide comprehensive care across the lifespan, she completed a Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2025.
With over eight years of healthcare experience serving the Borderplex region, Ana is dedicated to helping patients achieve their health goals through compassionate, evidence-based care. As a bilingual provider fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
